EPL PREDICTION WEEK 10

Last week was not a good one for the prediction team as the English Premier League produced some funny results which makes the league beautiful. The week 10 provides us with another opportunity to experience the excitement of the EPL as teams battle to return to winning ways while some managers continue the fight to retain their job.
The weekend begins with an early kick off game on Saturday between Sunderland and Arsenal fc then a late game between Crystal Palace and Liverpool, then two Super Sunday Clash which features Everton and Southampton and then concludes with a Monday Night football between Stoke City and Swansea City.

SATURDAY 29/10/2016
Sunderland Vs Arsenal 12:30pm
Sunderland remains the only team in the league yet to pick up a single win this season. They have been performing well in the EFL Cup up until they were knocked out this Wednesday by a Southampton side who are on a good run of form.
The Sunderland fans will be asking too much from the players if they are expecting a win against the Gunners.
Arsenal surprisingly played out a goalless draw against Middlesbrough a game many predicted an easy win for the gunners but the gunners picked themselves up with 2 - 0 win over Reading in the EFL Cup and will be looking to transfer that form into the league and luckily for them they will be facing a team who have just 8% home record.
Prediction: Sunderland 0 - 3 Arsenal (over 2.5)

Manchester United Vs Burnley 3pm
Manchester United return in front of their fans for the second time in four days after getting one over their city rivals in the EFL cup thanks to a controversial Juan Mata well placed goal. United will be hoping that their advancement in the cup competition will provide them with the much needed push to continue their fight going up the league table where they are currently sitting on the 7th position with 14 points from 9 games just one more than southampton.
Burnley will be coming to Old trafford knowing they are yet to win a game away from home and will be hoping to correct that wrong.
Prediction: Manchester United 2- 0 Burnley (over 0.5)

West brom Vs Manchester City 3pm
West brom welcome a win less City side to the Hawthorns. Same too can be said of the Baggies who have not won a game since their 4 - 2 win over West Ham on the 17th of September.
Both teams will be hoping to iron things out and experience what 3 points feels like.
City though are definitely favourites for Pep Gaurdiola's side as they have been tasted with a lot of tough opponents of late.
Tony Pulis may as well do what he was know for at Stoke City against a City who will love to hold a large junk of the possession but I see City stealing away all three point in this one.
Prediction: West Brom 1 - 2 Manchester City (GG, Over 1.5)

Tottenham Vs Leicester City 3pm
The only unbeaten in the League play host to the reigning champions at White Hart lane. It been a kind of omen that when a team defeats another big team in the way and manner Spurs defeated City, they tend to struggle with form for the next couple of games. If you doubt it ask Arsenal who defeated Ac Milan in 2008 and went without a win in their next 8 to 11 games allowing Manchester United to leapfrog them to the title in the 2007/2008 premier league season.
With that thought in my head I suspect this might be a good time for Leicester to make a statement. Having already lost to Arsenal, Man utd and Chelsea, if they still want to be taken serious then they will have to take something away from this game. considering they have not won any game this season away from home in the league, this might be a tricky one but I consider them favourite for this clash.
Prediction: Tottenham 1 - 2 Leicester City (GG)

Middlesbrough Vs Bournemouth 3pm
Middlesbrough's form have been disastrous LLLDLD they come up against a Bournemouth side who have been enjoying a good form of late unbeaten in their last 4 games and have rubbed shoulders with the big boys in the league holding Tottenham to a goalless draw last week and defeated Everton 1 - 0 late in September.
Middlesbrough will be looking for inspiration from anywhere they can get one as they face Eddie Howe's side at the Riverside and change their fortune.
Prediction: Middlesbrough 1 - 1 Bournemouth (GG)

Crystal Palace Vs Liverpool 5:30pm
Beneteke will welcome his former teammates to the selhurst park for the last game of soccer Saturday. Liverpool have become the most feared team in the land due to their goal scoring threat that have seen them score 20 goals same as Manchester City which is the highest in the league. Liverpool since their defeat to Burnley have produced a scoreline of 1 - 2 away from home.
Crystal Palace spear headed by star striker Christian Benteke will be out to prove a point that they can stand up against the big boys.
Prediction: Crystal Palace 1 - 2 Liverpool (GG)

SUNDAY 30/10/2016
Everton Vs West Ham 1:30pm
Everton once appeared to have found their form early in September when they defeated Sunderland and Middlesbrough respectively but have found it difficult to win again ever since meaning they are yet to win a game this October.
West Ham on the other hand have had mother luck smiling on them as they have now recorded 3 straight wins in all competitions with Chelsea among their victims , they will be hoping to extend that run. Everton do not have problem with scoring goals but they tend to conceded which makes it impossible for them to win games such as this.
Prediction:  Everton 1 - 1 West Ham (GG)

Southampton Vs Chelsea 5pm
Southampton welcome a wounded Chelsea team who on the blink of defeating Manchester United 4 - 0 suffered a 2 - 1 loss to West Ham which sent them out of the EFL cup on Wednesday, leaving them now with just the Premier League and FA cup to compete in.  Southampton despite the tough nature of the league this season still sit one point below early season favourite Man utd with 13 points out of a possible 27.
Chelsea will be hoping that their form against Utd will be reincarnated in this particular clash. As they continue to mount pressure on the league leaders Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool who all have 20 points going into this weeks round of matches.
Prediction: Southampton 1 - 0 Chelsea (Home team to score)

MONDAY 31/10/2016
Stoke City Vs Swansea City
This fixture summarizes the English premier League in the sense that no game is an easy one. With Stoke City picking up form of late and Swansea's new manager looking for his first win. This will prove to be an entertaining game to end the premier league week 10.
Prediction: Stoke City 3 - 2 Swansea City.
