EPL Week 22 Prediction

As all eyes were glued to the screen for the inauguration ceremony of the 45th president of the United state of America, so will all eyes be glued to the television screen to see if Manchester United will extend their run of unbeaten games, as they take on Stoke City at the bet 365 stadium in one of the games of week 22.
The weekend fixtures kicks off with the game between Liverpool and Swansea, then followed by six 4pm (Nigeria time) kick off games including the match of the week; Manchester City Vs Tottenham then Sunday sees three games which includes the game between Southampton and defending champions Leicester City.

Saturday 21/01/2017
Liverpool Vs Swansea City 1:30pm
Liverpool will be searching for their first win in three attempt in the league after playing two consecutive draws in games between Sunderland and Manchester United.
Liverpool are huge favourite for this fixture still unbeaten in their last six games with four straight wins and two straight draws. Goals itself have not been a problem for Liverpool as they are the highest scoring team in the land with 49 goals and conceded 24.
Swansea on the other hand have been struggling with form with just a single win in their last six games and now currently managed by their third manger this season. They will be entering this fixture as huge underdogs with an away win ratio of 23%.

Prediction:  Liverpool 3 - 0 Swansea (1, over 2.5)

AFC Bournemouth Vs Watford fc  4pm
Bournemouth return to the vitality stadium with mixed feeling remembering that they threw away two valuable points the last time they played there leading Arsenal by 3 - 0 and ended the game 3 - 3. Bournemouth are yet to win a game in the league this new year, and have at various times this season have proven that they are a force to reckon with when they play at home as they boast a 57% win ratio at the Vitality stadium.
Watford will feel hard done with this fixture coming at this time when they are struggling for form, unable to pick up all 3 points either home or away. Watford last win came against Everton when Okaka scored twice as they came from a goal down to win the game.
They will be hoping to replicate such spirit as they face Bournemouth.
Prediction: Bournemouth 3 - 1 Watford (1, GG, over 2.5)

Crystal Palace Vs Everton 4pm
That Crystal palace sits on 17th on the table it is not a coincidence as they have been playing a bit too badly for the last few months loosing games they are supposed to win. Not even the coming on board of Big Sam have made any changes to the direction Palace is/have been going. With no single win in their last six games and just a single draw in that run.
Everton go into the game with lots of confidence after providing the football world with a shocking victory over Manchester City in the week 21 round of matches.
Everton currently sits a place below Manchester United separated by 7 points, which goes to show that they are actually doing something right which has reflected in the form as they now have 4 wins and a draw in their last six games.
With that said I see Everton inflecting another defeat to Crystal Palace as they continue their pursuit of European football next season.
Prediction: Crystal Palace 0 - 2 Everton (2, over 1.5)

Middlesbrough Vs West Ham 4pm
Middlesbrough welcome in form West ham to the Riverside stadium where they recorded their last victory against Swansea on 17 December 2016. Middlesbrough will be hoping that their bad run will come to an end this weekend, but all that seems to be an uphill task as West Ham are currently showing the same kind of determination and spirit which made them a force last season, loosing only to reigning Champions Leicester City and Manchester United in their last 6 games. They will hope to erase those defeats with a win away from home with or without Payet.
Prediction: Middlesbrough 1 - 2 West Ham (x2, GG, over 2.5)

Stoke City Vs Manchester United 4pm
All eyes will be on this particular game not for any reason other than to see if Jose Mourinho's men will extend their unbeaten run to 20 in all competition this season after their slow start to the season.
Stoke City will be wary of Man Utd furry after they rob them of all their three points with a late equalizer at Old trafford earlier in the season, knowing that United will be out for vengeance.
Stoke City have been on a good run lately with two straight wins and two draws averaging 1.29 goals per game.
Manchester United knowing that any further slip up will make their battle for the top four very difficult, so they will come into this game with only one thing on their mind which is Victory.
Prediction:  Stoke City 0 - 2 Man Utd (2, over 1.5)

Manchester City Vs Tottenham 6:30pm
The best have been saved for last this saturday as Manchester City who are just recovering from a shocking 4 - 0 defeat at Everton have been handed yet another difficult fixture in Tottenham. With the Etihad stadium no longer a fortress, City will be wary of what Spurs can do when they hit you on the counter. And their pressing of the ball is second to none which mean City will not be provided with the space to pass the ball around.
If Spurs can go about this fixture like they play on a regular bases, also bearing in mind that Manchester United are waiting for any slip up on their side. Then I see only one winner in this game.
Prediction: Manchester City 1 - 2 Tottenham (X2, GG, over 2.5)

Sunday 22/01/2017
Southampton Vs Leicester City  1pm
This is a game between two unpredictable sides, you never know which side of the two teams will show up. But whatever happens there is sure to be a winner in this fixture.
prediction: Southampton - Leicester City (12, over 0.5)

Arsenal Vs Burnley 3:15pm
The gunners continue their strong match forward as they seek to cement a place among the top four teams. This will prove to be a much eaiser game for the gunners compared to the reversed fixture when they had to rely on a controversial goal to save Wenger some blushes on the day he marked his 20th year anniversary as manager of Arsenal Fc.
Burnley have been very poor on their travels, and that is not expected to change in this fixture.
Prediction: Arsenal 3 - 1 Burnley (1, over 2.5)

Chelsea Vs Hull City 5:30pm
Just when it looked like Hull City are about to rediscover themselves, then comes Chelsea the most consistent team in the league currently. I don't have much to say about this fixture other than it is going to be a problem for Marco Silva and his men as this begin their long journey of games against teams in the top 6.
Checking all the stats available the balance is tilting in favour of a Chelsea win, unless Hull City can spring up an upset, Chelsea are the definite winners in this game.
Prediction: Chelsea 3 - 0 Hull City (1, over 2.5)
