EPL Prediction Week 25

Year 2017 haven't been a good one for pundit as the English premier league has time and time again provided upset that nullifies every prediction so far, with Liverpool being the chief culprit.
Not withstanding the Premier League enters its week 25, providing another opportunity for teams to make up lost ground and for others to scramble the way out of the relegation zone.
The weekend begins with a mouth watering clash between Arsenal and Hull City, followed by six other fixtures which includes the match of the week between Liverpool and Tottenham.
While the other two Super Sunday clashes concludes week 25 round of matches.
Saturday 11/2/2016

Arsenal Vs Hull City 1:30pm
Arsenal return back to the Emirate after being bashed 3 - 1 by league leaders Chelsea at the Bridge, they will be hoping to turn over a new leaf in their quest for the premier league title, although many believe that dream have been blown away with the defeat to Chelsea last weekend.

Hull City since the arrival of Marco Silva, have shown that they are not afraid to face the big boys, picking up surprising points in their last few games, something no one could have thought possible some time last 2 months.
Prediction: Arsenal 1 - 1 Hull City (GG, over 1.5)

Man Utd Vs Watford 4pm
Man Utd extended their unbeaten run in the league to 15 games with a victory away to reigning Champions Leicester City. The stats may sound good to the ear but their position on the table tells the whole story.
If there is anything certain about this fixture is that Man Utd will not loose it. But will they pick up all three points? That's a question left to be answered by the boots of Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Watford have all of a sudden picked up form, winning two of their last two games, which sees them now 10th on the table with 30 points.  They will be coming to Old trafford hoping luck will be on their side and that their goal keeper will put up a man of the match performance while waiting to hurt United on the counter or by set piece.
Prediction: Man Utd 2 - 0 Watford ( 1, Over 1.5)

Middlesbrough Vs Everton 4pm
This going to be an entertaining game to watch for the neutrals. Middlesbrough have been on a very bad run of late with no win in their last 6 games contrarily to that of the saturday visitors who now have 4 wins in 6.
With Roman Lukaku current form, one cannot but look out for an Everton win in this game.
Middlesbrough no doubt will produce some excellent flashes of good football, but will they be able to put Roman Koeman boys in check, I do not think so.
Prediction: Middlesbrough 1 - 3 Everton (2, GG, over 1.5)

Stoke City Vs Crystal Palace 4pm
Stoke City only defeat in the league this year have come at the hands of West Brom, which goes to show that the potters have been solid all round, since loosing 4 -2 to Chelsea on 31 december 2016.
They come up against Big Sam's Crystal Palace who have only won once in 2017. Many including myself are beginning to think maybe Big Sam's magic may not be able to keep Crystal Palace afloat when relegation comes calling.
Judging by statistics Stoke City 44% home win ratio against Crystal Palace 33% away win ratio, I see a tight game with Stoke city being the likest winners.
Prediction: Stoke City 2 - 1 Crystal Palace (x1, over 2.5)

Sunderland Vs Southampton 4pm
Sunderland still find themselves in the relegation zone after 24 games, it beginning to look like a normal thing seeing them in that side of the league table. They come up against an out of form Southampton who just suffered back to back defeats at the hands of Swansea City and West ham United.
Sunderland playing in front of their fans may just be the motivation they need to get something from this game while also hoping that luck will once again forsake the saints as they continue their struggle to come out of the pit of relegation.
Prediction: Sunderland 1 - 0 Southampton (x1, over 0.5)

West Ham Vs West Brom 4pm
At the start of the season the Olympic stadium was much more like an away stadium for West ham as they found it difficult to win games there. But things have taken a positive turn as they no longer win just away but now even in front of their own fans.
With the sale of Payet many predicted a down hill movement for West Ham but surprisingly they have been doing well with just one defeat in their last four games (including during his striking period).
The Hammers come up against Tony Pullis' West Brom at the Olympic stadium, West Brom have become a strong side to up against this season, and no one knows what to expect from both teams in this fixture.
Prediction: West Ham 1 - 1 West Brom (x, over 1.5)

Liverpool Vs Tottenham 6: 30 pm
Liverpool are yet to win a game in 2017, having been knocked out of two cup competition in the space of a week, and loosing to Hull City last weekend, they come up against another serious title contender in Tottenham Hotspur.
Spurs are unbeaten in their last 6 games and have an away win ratio of 50% against the 70% home ratio which Liverpool have. Judging based on current form, Spurs are favorite for this one and with their fast and pressing style of play, they will be a problem for Liverpool.
Prediction: Liverpool 1 - 2 Tottenham (x2, GG, over 2.5)

Sunday 12/2/2017

Burnley Vs Chelsea 2: 30 pm
Burnley have been very good playing at home but when you come up against a Chelsea team who are on a mission, Home or away does not matter, because Chelsea are in a party mood and are ready to sweep any team away.
Prediction: Burnley 0 - 2 Chelsea (2, over 1.5)

Swansea Vs Leicester City 5pm
No one can confidently explain what is wrong with Leicester City this season, not even the most ardent supporter of the club.
Leicester haven't helped their case as they continue loosing games in which they are considered favourites.
Loosing four straight games back to back in the league is a shame for a team called defending champions, with a trip to Wales this super Sunday, I dnt see them returning with anything close to 3 points.
Swansea may not be the strongest of teams in the league, but at the moment they are among the few to have raised eyebrows.
This will definitely not be an easy ride for Leicester and anything short of a victory for them will see them join the relegation battle.
Prediction: Swansea 2 - 1 Leicester City (x1, GG, over 1.5)
