EPL WEEK 30 PREDICTION

With the international break over, life returns to the English premier league as it enters its week 30 though many teams have some outstanding matches. There could not have been any better way to begin the weekend than with the Merseyside derby, after which seven other games will go down while the remaining two games to conclude the week will be played on Sunday including the match of the week featuring Arsenal and Manchester City.

Saturday 1/04/2017
Liverpool Vs Everton 12:30pm
The Meseryside derby couldn't have come at a better time than this, when the two Merseyside teams are firing from all cylinder. Its always been a battle of supremacy whenever this two are involved, battles ranging from their final standings on the league table to the result of their meeting during the course of the season.
With Kloop's men battling to keep up to pace with the two top team in the land, they know that any slip off in this game may cost them a place in the Uefa Champions league next season, with the two Manchester clubs, and Arsenal breathing at their neck.
Everton on the other hand will be so pleased and happy to knock horn with their arch rival considering the free scoring form they are in at the moment, scoring 2 or more goals in their last 4 games, and with Roman Lukaku topping the goal scorers chart, the blue side of Merseyside have every reason to be hopeful.
Prediction: Liverpool 1 - 1 Everton (X, over 1.5, even number of goals)

Burnley Vs Tottenham 3pm
Burnley have proven time and time again this season that they can be a tough nut to crack when they play in front of their fans. Judging from the home table stats, Burnley currently occupy the 6th position on the table with 29 points from 14 games, recording 9 wins with just 2 defeats. Their opponents Spurs happens to be topping that table with 41 points after 15 games.
When it comes to playing away, Tottenham are not among the best in the league as they sit on the 6th position with just 4 wins on the road. But with the league gradually coming to an end, Totteham will not want to leave anything to chance knowing that anything short of 3 points will see their hope of automatic qualification being put in jeopardy.
Prediction: Burnley 0 - 2 Tottenham (2, NGG, Over 0.5)

Chelsea Vs Crystal Palace 3pm
The run away league leaders take on struggling palace at the bridge is very evident that Big Sam have started his magic at Selhurst park as the team now sits on 16th position with three wins in their last three games.
Palace maybe enjoying a good run of form but when you come up against Chelsea it is always a different story. Even with the absence of Eden Hazard, Chelsea still have enough fire power to dismantle their opponent in this one.
Prediction: Chelsea 1 - 0 Crystal Palace (1, NGG, over 0.5)

Hull City Vs West Ham 3pm
West Ham are still looking for their first win since February 4th 2017. They come up against a rejuvenated Hull City side, who may have hit a bump as they suffered a 4 - 0 defeat at the hands of Lukaku and Everton last time out. With the way Hull City have been playing of late, it will take some thing much more special for West Ham to record that first victory at the expense of Marco Silva's men.
Prediction Hull City 2 - 1 West Ham (1x, GG, over 2.5)

Leicester City Vs Stoke City 3pm
I have always been of the opinion that a good team does not just turn bad over night, Since the dismiss of the UEFA manger of the year, Leicester have recorded a 100% win ratio in all competition and they have been provided with yet another opportunity to continue that record and save themselves from the drop as they welcome Stoke City to the King Power stadium.  The amazing thing about Leicester's wins so far in the league is that they have been putting three goals pass their opponents. Here is Leicester's last three results;
Leicester Vs Liverpool  3 - 1
Leicester Vs Hull City  3- 1
West Ham Vs Leicester 2 - 3

Prediction: Leicester City 3 - 1 Stoke City (1, over 2.5, Home team to score)

Manchester United Vs West Brom 3pm
Manchester United begin their busy month of April with this game against West Brom. It will be very fresh to all that West Brom surprisingly defeated Arsenal adding salt to injury after their embarrassing UEFA Champions League exist.
Man Utd find themselves in an unfamiliar territory this season sitting 5th on the table, after almost a whole season occupying the 6th placed position. Many may have wrongly counted United out of the race for the top four, but with their performances in recent times I think they should be taken very serious.
West Brom under Tony Pulis have become a very compact team and very strong in the aerial battles thanks to the height of their players.
If United are to come away with a victory in this match, they should try as much as possible to deny West brom an opportunity to put the ball into their goal area.
Prediction: Man Utd 2 - 1 West Brom (1, over 1.5, Juan Mata scores)

Watford Vs Sunderland 3pm
This promises to be a nice battle as two teams who haven't tasted victory in a long while square up against each other.
Watford have a better record between the two with two wins, a draw and three defeats, while Sunderland on the other hand have one win, two draws and three defeats.
From the look of things Sunderland seems destined for the drop, and a defeat to Watford will all but help confirm my thought regarding them.
Watford don't really have a problem scoring goals, which puts them at an advantageous position in this fixture and if they can keep Sunderland out, then they are sure of all three points.
Prediction: Watford 2 - 0 Sunderland (1x, over 0.5, NGG)

Southampton Vs AFC Bournemouth 5:30pm
I have always been of the opinion that this last game of Saturdays are always reserved for last for a reason. They always produce some kind of funny results and entertainment at its peak.
Southampton are not one of the best teams when playing at home as the record shows, 15th on the table with just 5 wins out of 12 games in front of their fans. Afc Bournemouth on the other hand are also not a good team on the road with just 2 wins after 14 attempts.
Southampton problem this season have been goal scoring, they have scored 14 goals at home and also conceded 14 goals, while Bournemouth have scored 16 and conceded 31.
One thing is sure in this game, there will be no shortage of goals and controversies.
Prediction: Southampton 2 - 1 AFC Bournemouth (1x, GG, over 2.5)

Sunday 2/ 04/2017
Swansea Vs Middlesbrough 1:30pm
The relegation battle between these two teams kicks off the Super Sunday, with Swansea enjoying life under their new manager and finding their way out of the bottom three recording two wins in their last 6 unlike their opponents who are yet to record a win in their last six games and who have also employed the services of a new manager.
Middlesbrough may have felt hard done with the score line of their last game against Manchester United where they play relatively well but still lost 3 - 1.
Games such as this are always very difficult to predict.
Prediction: Swansea 2 - 0 Middlesbrough (1x, over 1.5)

Arsenal Vs Manchester City 4pm
The clash between Arsene Wenger and Pep have always been one to keep people licking their lips with both manager obsessed with fluid football. Pep always seem to get the better of Wenger when it matters the most as he has done with Barcelona and Bayern Munich sides in the past.
Pep boast of a better win ratio when put head -to- head with the French Man, and Sunday will provide him with another opportunity to increase the lead.
With Wenger having the most difficult time as Arsenal Manager this may not be the best time for him to meet Pep Guardiola as the result of this game may help the board clarify his future for him at the club.
Manchester City have the advantage of playing on Sunday after watching the outcome of the Saturday games, and they will love to remain in touch with title rivals Chelsea, Tottenham and Liverpool. Anything short of a victory will be costly for them and their title ambitions.
Prediction: Arsenal 1 - 3 Man City (x2, Over 1.5)
