Prediction EPL Week 6 September 2016

The Premier League returns again this weekend after the EFL cup games which were played mid week. The EFL cup fixtures came in handy for some clubs who needed to feel what it is like to win a game after weeks of win-less streak.
This premier League week six kicks off with a mouth watering clash between Manchester United and champions Leicester City at Old Trafford then extends to the super Sunday clash between West Ham and Southampton and then concludes with Monday night football between Burnley and Watford.
Saturday 24/09/2016

Manchester United Vs Leicester City 12:30pm
During the time of Sir Alex Ferguson who would have imagined that this game will one day become a high profile fixture. But fast forward to September 2016, it is not just a high profile fixture because Leicester City are visiting Old trafford as champions but also a defeat for Jose Mourihno will raise a big question mark over the career of one of football's modern day great managers.

Manchester United some how ended their loosing streak with a hard earned 3 - 1 victory over league 1 side Northampton in the EFL Cup on Wednesday with goals from Micheal Carrick, Ander Herrera and Marcos Rashford. While Leicester City threw away a 2 goals lead to loose 4 -2 to Chelsea after extra time and were dumped out of the competition. Leaving them with just the premier league and the Champions League to concentrate on for now till the FA cup begin in January.
This game is going to be a close one, but I see United coming out triumphant from this one especially as they will be playing in front of their fans who will be as noisy as ever. If Leicester are to get anything from this game then an early goal will be required to shut the mouth of the old trafford crowd.
Prediction: Manchester United 3 - 1 Leicester City

Swansea City Vs Manchester City 3pm
I know it is kind of become boring seeing Manchester City sweep past their opponent. But that is what one comes to expect from teams managed by Pep Guardiola he does not give room for mistake.  We all know Manchester City will loose a game soon but I do not think Swansea will be the team to cause that upset. With news of Swansea looking at Ryan Giggs to manage them, it shows that Swansea at the moment do not have their act in order which is exactly what Manchester City need to demolish them a second time in 3 days.
Prediction: Swansea City 1 - 3 Manchester City

Sunderland Vs Crystal Palace 3pm
Sunderland have not had things easy at all, they began the season with a tough game against Manchester City which they found hard to recover from the defeat. Week in week out they put in great performances but end up loosing games. The victory over QPR may have just come in at the right time for the club because the spirit around the club was about going down below bar.
For Crystal Palace they have been on and off all season, so one cannot really say much about them. But one thing is certain, they have a squad capable of defeating any one in the league on their good day, but I do not see them doing so against a Sunderland side who will be coming out to at least grab a point.
Prediction: Sunderland 0 - 0 Crystal Palace

Stoke City Vs West Brom 3pm
West Brom sprung a surprise last weekend as they hammered west ham despite considered as the underdogs. That may go a long way to tell us that Tony Pullis men are now getting something right about their style of play. Though going to the Britannia stadium on Saturday will prove a tough test for the baggies, I see them overcoming this test emulating Hull City who just won there on Wednesday night.
Prediction: Stoke 0 - 2 West Brom

Middlesbrough Vs Tottenham 3pm
Tottenham have enjoyed a decent start to the league season picking up 11 points out of a possible 15. In football nothing last forever. With Harry Kane out injured for this one I see Middlesbrough being the team to cause an upset this weekend.
I do  not know how they will do it but I sense this one will be the upset of the weekend.
Prediction: Middlesbrough 1 - 0 Tottenham

Liverpool Vs Hull City 3pm
Liverpool at the moment are unstoppable. Many may say Liverpool are not too good playing lesser opposition but truth be said the Reds under Klopp have transcended into a team that know exactly what they want from every game they step into the pitch to play.
The Epl being as competitive as it is, we know that the Reds run will not continue for long but this weekend is no the time it will be stopped.
No this respect to Hull City but I do not think they have what it takes to beat Liverpool right in their own backyard.
Prediction: Liverpool 3 - 0 Hull City

Arsenal Vs Chelsea 5:30pm
This obviously is the star game of this Premier League weekend. Matches between these two sides have always provided us with lots of excitement and drama. If there is anything this game will not lack, it will be goals. I expect both teams to score and who ever can outscore the other will win the game.
In recent times Chelsea have enjoyed this fixture because they always find a way to get all three points from Arsene Wenger's men but with Wenger saying that his players are now more matured we hope to see how they plan to contain this Chelsea side.
If Arsenal relax and play their game they will have no problem winning this game but I feel they will be under pressure to set the record straight against Chelsea which will prove to be their weak point.
Prediction: Arsenal 1 - 2 Chelsea

SUNDAY 25/09/2016
West Ham United Vs Southampton 4pm
This going to be a cagey game with both teams likely to score though games between this sides do not normally produce much goals.
Prediction: West Ham 2 - 3 Southampton

MONDAY 26/09/2016
Burnley Vs Watford 7:45pm
The premier League week 6 will come to a close with this tight fixture .For the neutral, it promises to be an entertaining game of football with plenty of goals to help us ease out the stress of Monday.
Watford are currently on cloud nine with victories over West Ham and Manchester United most recently. They will be full of confidence as they head into this game hoping their recent form will continue.
As for Burnley they will be hoping luck will smile on them so they can get all three point and move themselves away from the relegation zone.
Prediction Burnley 0 - 2 Watford
