FRIDAY 30/09/2016

Everton Vs Crystal Palace 7:45pm
There is no better way to begin the weekend than with this breath taking fixture, this promises to be an end to end game with each team having players with quick foot and speed on their flanks. With Wilfred Zaha back to the Palace squad this will spice up things a little bit more.

Everton having suffered a defeat at the hands of Bournemouth last weekend will be looking to bounce back up and make their way to the second spot on the log at least before the other teams play the next day.  While Palace will be hoping to make it two out of two after their 3 - 2 victory over David's Moyes Sunderland at the Stadium of Light last weekend having to come from two goal down.
Prediction: Everton 3 - 2 Crystal Palace

SATURDAY 1/10/2016

Swansea Vs Liverpool 12:30pm
Just like fellow strugglers Hull City Swansea have been unlucky with their fixtures of late, having to play Manchester City twice last week and now welcoming in form Liverpool to the Liberty stadium. Swansea Manager Francesco Guidolin acknowledges that his position  is under threat if he looses to Liverpool at the weekend.
Football being what it is a non sentimental game, Liverpool will be happy to face a Swansea side that have already shipped in 10 goals in 6 matches to add to their misery on the contrary The Red have been able to find the net 16 times and conceded just 9.
Prediction: Swansea 2 - 2 Liverpool

Hull City Vs Chelsea 3pm
Chelsea continue their journey away from home as they face Hull City this weekend in the match day 7 of the English Premier League. With Chelsea fully prepared for the game as they did not participate in any of the European fixtures during the week, they will be hoping to bounce back from a 3 - 0 thrashing at the hands of London rivals Arsenal. While Hull City will be hoping this game will be played fast and they can concentrate on other fixtures after the international break.
Prediction: Hull City 0 - 3 Chelsea

Sunderland Vs West Brom 3pm
I have a feeling the long awaited victory for Sunderland have just arrived. This game provides a good platform for David Moyes to save himself and this team from embarrassment after picking up just a single point from 6 games.
West brom as always have been hot and cold all season  having to manage a draw in their last game to Stoke City with a late goal from Jose Salomon Rondon in the 90th min.
Sunderland will fancy their chance in this game as they have found their goal scoring boots.
Prediction: Sunderland 2 - 1 West Brom

Watford Vs Bournemouth 3pm
Watford will be happy to return home to play in front of their fans after their disappointing defeat to a well organized Burnley side on Monday. One problem smaller teams face after defeating the bigger gun is that they tend to struggle for form after their heroics. After winning Manchester United 3 - 1 last two weeks, Watford could not replicate the same form against Burnley . This weekend they come up against a compact Bournemouth team who will as always prove tough and will be waiting patiently to take their chance when it comes.
Prediction: Watford 0 - 1 Bournemouth

West Ham Vs Middlesbrough 3pm
I predict a weekend of good fortune for struggling teams and this include West ham who have been struggling for form in their own back yard.
West Ham now find themselves 18th on the premier league table with just 1 win in 6 games reasons being that they have been unable to take advantage of their home games. But the story looks likely to change for them this weekend as they will be hoping players like Payet and Antionio will be on form to salvage something from this Middlesbrough side who are still trying to find their feet in the Premier League.
Prediction: West Ham 3 - 0 Middlesbrough

SUNDAY 2/10/2016

Manchester United Vs Stoke City 12pm
Manchester United may not be a perfect team at the moment but the sign are there to show that they are a team responding to criticism. After having lost pace with Manchester City and Tottenham who face each other they will be happy to come up against a Stoke side who have conceded 15 goals so far and scored just 5. There will be no better time than now to avenge the defeat they suffered against Stoke City under the guidance of David Moyes.
United so far have made it 3 wins out of 3 after having a disappointing start to the month of September where they lost three games in a row.
Stoke City on the other hand will be hoping they can cause another Super Sunday upset.
Prediction: Manchester United 2 - 0 Stoke City

Tottenham Vs Manchester City 2:15pm
This obviously is the star match of the weekend, as the first place team in the league take on the second place team as the battle for top intensifies.
Tottenham will be hoping to make a statement this weekend against a Pep Side who have found it very easy to dismantle their opponents. But as the Premier League have showed over the years nothing last forever.
Tottenham have a good record against Manchester city as they have beaten City 59 times, drawn 34 times and lost 58 times.
After a dramatic Champions League game against Celtic City will be hoping their defence will not ship in as much goal against a Spurs side that have allowed only 3 goals into their net in the league so far.
With Goal Keeper Bravo still making silly mistakes at the back in the name of a sweeper keeper, I see Tottenham punishing City for any mistake they make and by so doing bringing the winning run to an end.
Prediction: Tottenham 3 - 1 Manchester City

Leicester City Vs Southampton 2:15pm
The Champions welcome the Saints to the King Power Stadium in a game which promises to be as entertaining as the Friday night game between Everton and Crystal Palace.
Leicester City will be coming into this one with so much confidence after showing the World what they are made up in the Tuesday night game against Portuguese giant Fc Porto. Southampton on the other hand could only manage a single point in their Europa game against Hapoel Beer Sheva.
Leicester City known for their ability to bounce back from defeats, will be hoping to cement that reputation with a victory over the Saints after loosing 4 - 1 to Manchester United in match day 6.
Prediction Leicester City 3 - 1 Southampton

Burnley Vs Arsenal 4:30pm
The premier league weekend comes to a close with this fixture as Burnley face an uphill task against an in form Arsenal Team who according to their manager have matured into a team capable of winning the league this season.
Burnley may have beaten Watford against all odds on Monday and defeated Liverpool early in the season but I doubt if they have what it takes to stop this Arsenal side who are looking pretty good at the moment.
Prediction Burnley 0 - 3 Arsenal
